Title: L-functions and Selmer groups of Siegel modular forms of genus 2

Abstract:
The L-function and Selmer group associated to an automorphic representation have mysterious and interesting links between them. In this talk we will discuss such results for automorphic representations on GSp_4. The main tool we will use is the p-integral theta correspondence between GSp_4 and GSO_6. Combined with the Rallis inner product formula, this will allow us to relate the special L-values to certain congruence numbers and then to Selmer groups by applying modularity lifting results.
