Motivic Landweber exact theories and etale cohomology

Abstract:  We will discuss an etale hyperdescent theorem for Bott inverted motivic Landweber exact theories, e.g., algebraic cobordism and algebraic \(K\)-theory.  This is achieved by amplifying the effects of the Beilinson-Lichtenbaum conjecture in the motivic slice filtration.  Joint work with Elden Elmanto, Marc Levine and Markus Spitzweck.
