The seminar takes place on Thursday, starting at 4:45pm. The duration of each talk is about 60 minutes. Before the talk, at 4:15pm, there is tea in room O-3.46.

Abstracts

Jaya Iyer: Aspects on Brill Noether sub varieties of moduli spaces.

We will discuss various properties of Brill Noether subvarieties of moduli spaces of vector bundles on a curve. We study questions of rationality/rational connectedness of these loci, and prove that in low codimension, and in some cases, these are rationally connected. This is joint work with P. Biswas.
